Pump up the Thump on the Bump man! Your renderings of soup cups and cyborgs just might get a bit more realistic, and guess what, it won’t require any harmful immunizations or soap throwing.

Bunkspeed has released Hypershot 1.9, the latest version of their rendering software. If you’ve read the press release, you’ll see it will give you an “even more realistic look,” but what is it that actually helps your materials look more realistic? Thomas Teger was around help us understand and fill us in on plugin updates.

The Venom. It Creeps. It Crawls. It’s Designed in SolidWorks.

venom creeper rc car designed in solidworksYes, it crawls like none other. Not across your face in the middle of a dark, cold night in the middle of Utah, but across the vicious terrain of the rockiest of earthen obstacles and barriers.

BE warned! Be very a…warned!

It’s the Venom Creeper with 70 degrees of axle articulation and a magnificent transmission capable of handling 9 lbs of weight and some fiery decals.

What’s even more magnificent? It was designed in SolidWorks and these images, rendered with Bunkspeed’s Hypershot show all the creepy, crawly, grisly detail of what the team at Venom Group is capable of.
