So, we haven’t even seen tech from Iron Man 1 developed yet, but who cares! We’ll take any blind stab at future tech Hollywood throws at us and say… HECK YEAH.

Iron Man 2 starts today and it’s gotta have gadget galore at least as cool as the first one and UI’s way better than the rinky-dink multi-touch phones we use now. As you’ll see in the following videos, the future is filled with transparent displays, table-top interaction, digital feedback and dressing in front of windows. It certainly makes one think about how the ideas could manifest themselves in the not-so-movie-like work life.

The Horrible, Horrible ‘Massage Me’ Direction 3D Product Design Could Go

Think about this. A vest that allows you to receive a massage AND acts as a device to manipulate video game play, or in our case, 3D geometry. Are you feelin’ it!?

Well, before you get excited and tell your friends to cozy up behind you, think about this… are they certified to be developing products via the tight knots in your lower spinal region. hmm, I think not. Nevertheless, they can thanks to some creative Austrians from the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz.

The concept is called Massage Me and if you can’t wait for it to hit the stores, you can go DIY or host your own design massage par-tay. YES.

The Rockin’est LED PocketWatch Mod EVER, Designed With a lil’ SolidWorks

It’s been a while since your uncle that glues batteries and LED’s to his face has visited, so you may be getting a little anxious to view blinking lights and oddities that boggle the mind.

Lucky you. Today we have a light-emitting creation from the mind of Paul Pounds. It stuffs 133 surface-mounted LEDs into the body of a Elgin hunter-style pocket watch. Yeah, pocket watches. Remember those things? Not only should we all be carrying one around like the old days, they should look and work exactly like Paul’s design. Here’s the scoop.
