For shame!! You have two wide screen displays, a wireless keyboard, a wireless mouse, a 3D mouse, stereo surround speakers, a photo of Joan Rivers, a USB missile launcher, an iPod and a chair massager you use to heat oatmeal, BUT you don’t have a USB powered triple foot switch?

Alibre Design V12 Preview – More Gumptions in the Functions, Needs Better Icons

It’s a video. 40 minutes of Alibre modeling fun and features coming out in the future version of Alibre. No need to cover the eyes of your children. It’s family fun for the future of 3D CAD.

The Alibre V12 Sneek Peak is described as a ‘stellar release with tons of little tiny things.’ It shows what features have improved, what users are asking for and most of all how it differs from everything else on the market. An Open 3D CAD Design Tools Directory? Will It Happen?

Oh now behave yourself. It’s a simple question, but one we can throw a truckload of speculation at and shake it vigorously to come up with all sorts of outlandish ideas. ya down?

Mozilla Labs launched their Open Web Tools Directory today. It’s the new central repository mish-mash of design and coding tools to aid the most hardcore web developers pour their creations onto our screens – all of them available for the price of free. Now, what happens if we apply this to the whole 3D CAD/PLM space… besides pure mayhem and ensuing violence from VAR to partner product?
